Tara Branstad

Tara Branstad (re)joins the University of Pittsburgh following a 19-year career at Carnegie Mellon University which included 14 years in technology transfer and 5 years in research operations, most recently serving as the AVP of Research Operations. During her time at CMU, Tara worked with faculty from all areas, including computer science, robotics, biomedical engineering, chemistry, and biology. Tara has two degrees from Pitt; an MBA from Katz and an MHA from GSPH. In addition, Tara received her BA in Biology from the University of Virginia.
