Associate Director, Compliance and Contracts
Rob comes to the Innovation institute with close to two decades of experience as a practicing patent attorney. During that time, he has worked with inventors to evaluate and patent a broad range of technologies. Rob also has experience in analyzing IP portfolios for marketing opportunities, asset valuation, and drafting and negotiating technology licenses. Prior to joining the Innovation Institute, Rob held positions in both large and small law firms, and he has been in private practice since 2009. Before launching his legal career, he worked as an Examiner at the USPTO. Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University, and a JD from George Washington University Law School.
