Anna Vnukova

Intellectual Property Paralegal

Anna Vnukova, Esq., is an Intellectual Property Paralegal with the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OIE). In her role, she supports the Innovation Institute’s intellectual property team in managing disclosures, coordinating patent and trademark filings, overseeing docketing systems, and assisting with agreements that help translate Pitt research into commercial impact. Anna works closely with inventors, attorneys, and external partners to ensure that Pitt innovations are effectively protected and positioned for licensing and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Previously, Anna was an Intellectual Property Assistant with Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC in Buffalo, NY, where she supported the IP group across patent and trademark portfolio development, litigation, licensing, and post-grant proceedings. She also served as the primary IP and IT attorney at Nova Poshta, a leading logistics operator in Ukraine, where she managed a large trademark and copyright portfolio, conducted M&A due diligence, and drafted IT/IP contracts.

Anna earned her LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She is admitted to practice law in New York State and has completed several advanced trainings in intellectual property law.
