University of Pittsburgh Announces Eight Patents Issued to Pitt Innovators in February 2025

Pitt innovators were issued eight U.S. patents in February 2025.

Featured patent: 12,226,400: Neuroprotective Disruption of KV2.1/Syntaxin Interaction by Small Molecules

Pitt innovators have developed a method of treating a neurological condition using small molecules. The neurological condition could be a neurodegenerative disease, stroke or other conditions associated with neuronal damage or neuronal cell death
